I would just like to know how often Google updates its backlinks? As I have been working hard since November and have built up quite a few, but when i put link:http://www.itoms.com into google it only shows 5. It doesnt even show links that were there before November from very reputable sites.

Has anybody got any ideas about this?

To view all the links Google has found for your website you need to use Google Webmasters Central (www.google.com/webmasters). You can use the "External Links" section inside the dashboard.
